Casey Anthony’s parent’s are concerned that a video of their daughter circulating online may put her in harm’s way reported CNN news.
The video titled “video diary” has surfaced on You Tube in October nearly six months after her acquittal in the murder of her daughter Caylee. She has been avoiding the public eye because of death threats being made to her by people angry about the verdict.
In the 4 ½ minute video, she mentions how things have changed for the better. “They only get better,” she says in the video made in an unknown location in Florida. She will serve probation there until the end of February for unrelated charges.
The 25-year-old, who now has a blond bob and glasses, is hoping to build a new life for herself. She was extremely optimistic about her future, although, she claims to feel lonely. She admits to occupying her time learning her new computer, and using Skype to keep video logs.
“This has just been such a blessing in so many ways and now I, in some ways, have someone to talk to when I’m by myself so I’m not bothering the poor dog who I’ve adopted and I love and he’s as much my dog as any of the other pets I’ve ever had,” she says.
However, there was no mention of the six-week murder trial back in June after Caylee’s body was found in a wooded area near her home. The “video diary” was her first public appearance since being released from prison in July and found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee by a Florida jury. She was found guilty of four misdemeanor counts of lying to police officers. Anthony seems to have moved on from the trial and has plans on releasing more videos in the future.
Casey Anthony gives new information about the murder
A jailed Casey mentioned being drunk and raped when becoming pregnant with Caylee, and she said it may have been her father George Anthony who impregnated her. She has also said her father was the one who murdered Caylee after attempting to sexually abuse her.
