Beyonce’ Makes History as The First Black Woman to Headline at the Coachella Festival 2018

In case you’ve missed what happened at the 19th annual Coachella festival on Saturday – Beyonce’ happened.

In Indio, California, Queen Bey makes history achieving headlining set at the Coachella festival.

“Thanks for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline,” Bey said before performing.

The pop star slays another show, which has been jokingly renamed, “Beychella.”

Reportedly, over 450,000 of the BeyHive streamed her performance live on YouTube early Sunday morning.

The festival continued on Saturday for its second day and Bey performed classic hits with the reunited Destiny’s Child. Her performance was following her cancellation last year, due to her pregnancy, to headline set at the annual music festival last year

Other guest appearances included cameos from her husband JAY-Z and sister Solange.

Spotlights throughout the festival included Rihanna’s star-studded pool party to launch her new FentyXPuma collection and Beyonce’s fraternity step show.

NickiMinaj also hangs and flicks it up with a few stars on Saturday night – Kylie Jenner and others.

Coachella featured a special music performance by The #DreamTeam @chloexhalle and @mirandamcdonald who also stars on the thriving Netflix series, “GrownIsh.”
