On the last episode of Indie Dreams, Comedienne Kodi Me’Chele and Comedians Cee Jay Craxx and Hassan Oliver touched on many different topics but one topic is sensitive for many African Americans — Bill Cosby’s recent conviction.
After kicking off the show with laughter and witty comments, the tone quickly turned serious when the 80-year-old comedian and actor Bill Cosby’s name came up in the interview.
“Bill Cosby was my inspiration growing up,” says comedienne Kodi in an Interview on Indie Dreams. “A lot of techniques that he would use, I use. I don’t condone what he did. But I don’t care what anyone says. What Bill Cosby did brought a lot of people together. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would be the comedienne that I am today,” she continued. “So people can say what they want about him. It wasn’t right, but I have my opinion.”
